“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (KJV)

Christianity is a call to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). This calls for exhibiting good works at all times. It is not something that is easy, but we have been given the grace to continually do good to everyone who comes into contact with us. There are eternal and earthly blessings in doing good. Through doing good, we are able to lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19–21). On Earth, we become vessels that God can trust and use as channels of blessings to reach others. Note this Any time we feel weary or tired of doing good, it is an indication that we are closer to greater blessings. It is always the desire of the devil and his demons to rob us of our blessings, so they will try to make us feel tired so that we quit.

Lift up your eyes and see the good in the world, for we are people with an amazing capacity to do great good. And if only the minority choose to exercise this capacity to the smallest degree, oh how wondrous and sweet the deeds performed at but a few hands! By Richelle E. Goodrich

Dear beloved, let doing good be your lifestyle; do it even when you feel tired, and God will trust you for His greater blessings and assignments. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

In my pursuit of happiness, I’ve come to the realization that there’s really no selfless act of kindness or selfless act of love. People do good, and help others because it makes them feel good, relevant and important. By Izey Victoria Odiase
