“Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;” 2 Timothy 1:8 (KJV)

The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the only way mankind can be saved (Acts 4:12). The gospel could have gone further than what we see today if every Christian was testifying about the goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many Christians are not enthused about preaching the gospel because of self-centeredness. Some are too busy with other things; others feel too shy to share their Christian faith for reasons best known to them.

Don’t condemn if you see a person has a dirty glass of water, […..] just show them the clean glass of water that you have. When they inspect it, you won’t have to say that yours is better. By Elijah Muhammad

Dear beloved, no excuse is too great to be silent over the testimony of our Lord. If you feel too shy or ashamed to preach the gospel to the lost, Jesus Christ won’t testify for you before the father and could take away your portion from the Kingdom of God (Luke 9:26). Don’t allow the suffering, afflictions, or challenges in your life to prevent you from sharing your Christian faith, because afflictions are part of the Christian walk. Be bold to share the gospel of Christ with others, and be a partaker of the blessings therein. Hallelujah! Be bold!

Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, please give me the boldness to preach the gospel at all times. Amen!
