What Are Your Worries?

What Are Your Worries?

“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Matthew 6:25 (KJV)

Giving attention to the Word of God keeps one away from anxiety. Everybody is confronted with lots of issues every day, some of which are beyond our ability to provide or resolve.

Keep your promise to God. Whatever you say to God, you believe it. Separate yourself from anything contrary to His Word. God will hear and answer prayer” William Branham

We tend to worry about the ones that are beyond us instead of committing them into the Lord’s hands so that we can be free of them (1 Peter 5:7). Sometimes we worry about the less important things instead of being grateful to God over the vital things He has provided for us. Which is more important, life or food? If God gives you life, don’t you think He can sustain your life by providing you with food? Yes, He can.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” Philippians 4:6

“Giving God praise in the midst of challenges turns them into testimonies.”
Quote by David Oyedepo.

Yet some worry about food, water, clothing, money, marriage, etc., instead of being grateful to God for life.

Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength. Corrie Ten Boom.

Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved”Psalm 55:22

Dear beloved, you can put all anxiety or worry to rest if you begin to celebrate God for your life and good health. As you learn to show more appreciation to Him, your anxiety will disappear, giving way to God’s provision.

Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always” 1 Chronicles 16:11

Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for being my great Provider. Amen!

Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength. Corrie Ten Boom.
