“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Matthew 5:44”
Jesus Christ brought a new and better order for us to follow. It is quite normal to hate your enemies, curse those who curse you, avoid those who hate you, and despise those who despitefully use and persecute you. But Jesus said to get a better and lasting result we need to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who despitefully use and persecute us. Jesus Christ himself is a good example of his own words when he prayed for those who crucified him on the cross. Dear reader, do you want to go the extra mile for greater blessings? Then consider the above scripture!
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8
