Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness! Ecclesiastes 10:16-17 (KJV)
Growing into a son is God’s delight and the joy of every parent. One is given an opportunity to be a child for a season and they are expected to grow into adulthood with mature level of thinking. An adult who still thinks and behaves as a child is not normal. It is important for the children of God to make up their mind to grow spiritually to attain a level of maturity that God can use them for His tough assignments. A Christian who does not grow and remains as a babe will be tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine, Ephesians 4:14. Such Christians also find themselves committing all manner of sins. Dear beloved, be conscious to feed on the Word of God daily, pray, and sometimes fast to grow your spirit to maturity. This will enable you to hear from God, know the times and seasons, walk faithfully with God, and position yourself for greater tasks and blessings. Hallelujah! Be An Overcomer!
