DON’T LET ANYONE DIM YOUR LIGHT
Other people perception of you is nor of your business. Everything you ever been through, set through, prayed through, walked through, carried through, Everything is a set up for your next best season. Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: You can’t let other people make you feel insecure about what you’re doing or who you’re becoming. The way you forgive the perceiving unforgivable, the way you accept what seems to be unacceptable, the way you embrace after been betrayed, the way you do that, is the way you will lead others. Your light belong to everyone who is illuminated to you, because you were bold enough and obedient enough to let your light shine. Most of the time you come across someones path and they can’t handle your light, you know those people, they try to give you reasons why you should turn it down a bit, they could tell you your kind is strange, you know what those people are dream snatchers, vision buster. Don’t be mad at them they could only love you to the capacity in which they are able to love themselves. Keep praying for them, love them. Same goes to people you call your friends they don’t realize how harmful their comments or lack of support is to you. In their mind they’re protecting you and protecting themselves. They see what you’re doing as “unsafe” or “different” or not following the “status quo.” They are confined to the limitations of what they believe is possible. You should never dim your light just to make other people feel secure. You got more to give to the world, it aren’t over yet. Don’t put a period were God put comma. Stop dimming your light. You say to yourself today is the best day of my life.
You will find people that can handle your light. Before then you might have shrunk a little bit of your light, you might tempered it down a little bit, But after today i want you to turn up your light, don’t attempt to dim your light. As your light get brighter you are going to disrupt some people and they are going to tell you, your light is too bright, you just look at them and say, well I am not dimming my light, am just going to use some shades…
You think hiding your passion and your purpose will make the “haters” stop? It won’t.
People will always find things to criticize and judge you for. Their judgment speaks more about their own character than about yours.
You can’t let people make you feel like you need to hide or abandon your dreams.
Never dim your light, the world needs your gift.
